Delegate
Keep only the frame and hand every decision inside it to the group; never override what comes back.

Try it on your work
Let the next material choice be made by the next person who enters (the colour, the component, the placement) and honour it without amendment. Note the exact moment you wanted it back.
Give someone three options for a real decision, tell them the choice is theirs, and say nothing while they make it. The option you hoped they'd pick was your decision; now you know it.
Hand one class of recurring decision to a rule, a rotation, or a person for a week: genuinely, with no silent veto. Count the overrides you performed anyway; each one is a boundary you drew without admitting it.
How it has been used
Give the authorship away: let others add, decide, continue; keep only the frame. Every collaborative drawing and open-source project runs on it. The move forbids overriding what comes back: you set the conditions, and then what happens under them is not yours to correct.
